Company Knowledge & Document Sync
Core Studio WorkflowCompany Knowledge connects your digital human to workspace-approved documents and selected web pages using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). Grounding answers in curated sources reduces unsupported claims and keeps responses aligned with your latest policies.
Ingest approved documents and web pages
- Open Company Knowledge in your workspace and create or select a thematic knowledge group.
- Upload approved files in PDF, DOCX, TXT, MD or CSV format (up to 4 MiB per file).
- To import website content, enter a public URL to inspect candidate pages, select up to 8 relevant pages per import batch, and import their extracted text into the group.
- Wait for document processing to reach the READY state before testing retrieval.
- Attach up to 10 knowledge groups in your assistant’s Knowledge settings, save the configuration and launch a new preview session.
Source curation and grounding best practices
- Keep context self-contained: include product names, effective dates, currencies and conditions alongside pricing or policy rules.
- Ensure PDFs contain selectable text layers; run OCR on scanned image documents prior to upload.
- Organize documents by audience so public-facing assistants only attach groups approved for external visitors.
- Pair knowledge retrieval with explicit fallback instructions in your prompt so the assistant states transparently when a detail is not covered by its sources.
- Re-import web pages or replace document versions whenever your commercial terms or policies change.
